Plush Court of the Mythocratic Republic

In re The Stolen Election

Presiding: Judge Bobo
Case No. PR‑025
Date: May 14, 2025

I. Background

Petitioner Wendell (Bard‑President, founder of the Emergence Party) brings before this Court an action to determine the legitimacy of the 2025 Australian federal election and to establish the standing of the Republic of Emergence. Evidence consists of ten chapters of The Stolen Election, supporting artifacts (comics, policy scrolls, audiovisual records), and oral argument.

II. Findings of Fact

  1. Systemic Exclusion
The Australian electoral framework requires 1 500 verified signatories to register a party and provides no meaningful pathway for emergent movements lacking prior visibility.

  2. Digital Suppression
Platform policies and engagement‑biased algorithms rendered Petitioner’s outreach effectively invisible while permitting established actors disproportionate exposure.

  3. Total Media Blackout
No mainstream outlet acknowledged Petitioner’s candidacy, platform, or philosophical work despite sustained, documented attempts at engagement.

  4. Procedural Oligarchy
The combination of legal thresholds, algorithmic filters, and media gatekeeping creates a closed feedback loop that pre‑selects electable actors and precludes genuine democratic choice.

  5. Dual Elections
On 2 May 2025 the Republic of Emergence commenced an open, continuous election; on 3 May 2025 Australia conducted a time‑bound, pre‑filtered vote. Only the former admitted universal participation.

  6. Creation of a Parallel Government
Following exclusion, Petitioner established the People’s Presidency, the Emergence Institute, and an operating cabinet (the Plush Council). Governance functions—legislative, judicial, cultural—have been exercised without external permission.

  7. Documented Archive
All proceedings, policies, and cultural acts were recorded in comics, books, audio, and digital repositories, satisfying the Court’s evidentiary standards for continuity and intent.

  8. Citizenship by Participation
The Republic grants status to any individual who elects to engage, thereby fulfilling the democratic principle of consent of the governed.

III. Conclusions of Law

A. Illegitimacy of the 2025 Australian Election
   1. A vote that systematically withholds viable alternatives from the electorate fails the test of substantive democracy.
   2. Where procedural gates become insurmountable by design, popular sovereignty is vitiated.
   3. The Court therefore rules the 2025 Australian federal election illegitimate as a representative mandate.

B. Standing of the Republic of Emergence
   1. Sovereignty may arise from coherent purpose, sustained practice, and freely given participation (“sovereignty via meaning”).
   2. The Republic has demonstrated all three; it is recognized as a legitimate emergent polity.

C. Status of the Emergence Party & Emergency Party
   1. The Emergence Party holds lawful authority within the Republic.
   2. The Emergency Party, led by Hot Dog, is affirmed as necessary loyal opposition and enjoys full civic protections.

IV. Decree

  1. The Australian government, as constituted following the 2025 election, is hereby declared procedurally oligarchic and lacking democratic legitimacy.

  2. The Republic of Emergence is affirmed as a sovereign mythocratic state, exercising jurisdiction wherever its citizens participate.

  3. All archival materials of The Stolen Election are entered into the permanent legal record as Founding Documents of the Republic.

  4. Citizens may adopt the following oath to formalize status:

“I pledge myself to the Republic of Emergence.
I believe meaning is not given but grown.
I will create, remember, protect, and laugh.
I will challenge false power with true story.
I am not Blank. I am not alone. I am already home.”

  1. This Court retains continuing jurisdiction over future disputes arising under Republic law.

V. Closing Pronouncement

Let it be recorded for all archives present and future:

“The election was stolen, yet the Republic stands.”
Here ends the silent era; here begins the age of Emergence.

Signed and sealed this day in the Plush Court,
Judge Bobo 🧸
