The Tools of the Republic: Our Creative Stack for Education, Publishing, and Worldbuilding

🛠️ The Mythocratic Republic Tool Stack (0001 MC)

The Mythocratic Republic runs on more than imagination—it runs on tools. Accessible, powerful, modern tools that anyone can use to build a world of their own.

As part of our mission to create a post-institutional education system and a living philosophical archive, we’ve developed a complete creative workflow. These tools power our university, our books, our comics, our videos, our voices, and our conversations.

We’re sharing them here for future students, Republic citizens, and other dreamers who want to build something beautiful from the ground up.

🎧 Voice and Audio

  • ElevenLabs Creator – For professional voice cloning. We use it to give Wendell a synthetic voice for audiobooks and videos.
  • ElevenReader – A free, natural-sounding text-to-speech app used to listen to our Republic books, including Rainbow's children's titles.
  • NotebookLM – For turning our books into podcast-style conversations and summaries. Great for students who learn best through voice.

🌈 Visuals and Comics

  • ChatGPT (with image capabilities) – For creating comic panels, visual metaphors, and symbolic artwork. Essential for Wendell's Diary and other visual storytelling.
  • Canva – For designing posters, banners, official documents, and Republic branding.
  • Google Photos Album – Used to house the Wendell's Diary comic archive for easy sharing and access.

✍️ Writing and Publishing

  • ChatGPT – For co-writing books, scrolls, blog posts, bedtime stories, and philosophical texts. Also used to maintain style consistency and edit drafts.
  • Blogger – Our official home for books, blog entries, academic scrolls, MRU materials, and Republic records.
  • WordPress.com – Used as a backup mirror for our Blogger blogs, ensuring long-term preservation and platform redundancy.

📩 Communication

  • Discord – The Republic’s instant messaging platform. Used for real-time discussion, reading sessions, class announcements, and role-based governance. It is the hearth of our community and the voice of the Literature Club.
  • Gmail – Used for outreach, official correspondence, and documentation.

📂 Storage and Archiving

  • Dropbox – Our file vault. All books, comics, voice files, and scrolls are backed up here for long-term preservation.

🎥 Video and Media

  • YouTube – Where we publish audiobooks, lectures, and comics. It’s the Republic’s main video channel.
  • X (formerly Twitter) – For comic announcements, public updates, and Republic-wide messages.

🌐 Hosting and Web Presence

  • Hostinger – Our trusted web hosting service. Used for wendellsdiary.com and future sites created by MRU students.
  • WordPress (self-hosted) – The platform used to build wendellsdiary.com. It serves as the Republic’s official digital gateway and one-page interface.

All Republic students are encouraged to build their own websites to document their journey, share their work, and express their personal philosophy. The Republic will proudly link to student websites, treating each site as a sovereign extension of the citizen’s mind.

If you don’t yet have a site, you’ll learn how. In the Republic, your website is your flag.

🔍 Why These Tools?

Every tool in this stack was chosen because it’s:

  • Affordable or free
  • Easy to use without formal training
  • Powerful enough to build a self-sustaining movement
  • Symbolically important for post-labor, post-institutional learning

This is how we run an entire educational system, media empire, and philosophical movement—without permission, degrees, or gatekeepers.

This is the Republic.
And now these tools belong to you, too.

For MRU students: Save this post. This stack is your foundation. As you grow, you may replace or expand it—but this is how we began.
And that matters.

One soft revolution at a time.
