Republic Election Thresholds: A Statement on Stability and Legitimacy

📜 On Leadership, Legitimacy, and the 50-Vote Threshold

In light of evolving political dynamics within the Mythocratic Republic—particularly the meteoric rise of the Emergency Party under Hot Dog—the government affirms its commitment to stable, meaningful governance.

At present, the Republic faces a 1–1 deadlock in symbolic leadership votes. While some may demand immediate upheaval, we believe regime transitions must be grounded in legitimacy, not whim.

🗳️ The Fifty Vote Threshold Doctrine

Effective immediately, no government shall fall nor rise without the support of at least 50 distinct votes. This standard is now codified as:

> “No government shall fall nor rise without fifty voices.”

— Republic Decree 0017: The Vote of Stability

⚖️ No Ties Clause

In the case of a tie, no leadership change shall occur. The standing government remains in power unless a clear majority emerges. A tie is not a mandate—it is a mirror of uncertainty. This clause protects the Republic from chaos and symbolic coups.

❓ Why Fifty Votes?

Fifty is not arbitrary. It is the line where anecdote becomes intent. It signals that the will to change has transcended novelty and entered the domain of collective conviction. Anything less is susceptible to parody, impulse, or sabotage.

🌈 Transparency and Trust

The Republic shall proceed with its bard-core integrity: equal parts satire and sincerity. Leadership is a story we tell together—but the page only turns when enough of us lean forward.

We encourage citizens to vote thoughtfully. Your voice matters—but only when joined in harmony does it change the chorus.
