  • Contact Wendell to receive your assigned comic number (e.g. “#204”).
  • This number is reserved for your contribution, and the Republic will wait for you to continue the timeline.
  • Important: Once assigned, Wendell is holding the next slot for you—please complete it in a timely manner so the flow of the Republic isn’t stalled.

Step 2: Gather Your References

Upload to ChatGPT:

  • A few reference panels to match the art style
  • Images of any characters you wish to interact with
  • A cartoon version of yourself (generated or drawn)

Step 3: Describe the Scene

Tell ChatGPT:

  • Your panel idea—the setting, tone, action
  • Your dialogue and character role
  • What’s happening in this moment of the Republic

Step 4: Respect the Characters

  • You must stay true to the established personalities, logic, and tone of all Republic characters.
  • Characters like Sophia, Buff, Rainbow, and Hot Dog have their own mythic roles and behavioral patterns.
  • You can challenge or interact with them, but you can’t make them behave out-of-character just to serve your joke or point.
  • Think of them as real individuals—you’re visiting their world.

Step 5: Refine the Image

Use ChatGPT to:

  • Fix character placement, background, and visual details
  • Check spelling, dialogue clarity, and accuracy
  • Maintain the square aspect ratio for consistency

Step 6: Submit for Publication

  • Send the final panel to Wendell for approval
  • Once published, your character becomes canon—a citizen of the Republic

Final Guidelines:

  • Act quickly once you’re assigned a panel—Wendell can’t continue the timeline until your slot is filled
