What Do We Worship, and Why?

Human beings have always had a profound need to worship. From ancient deities to modern idols, this act of reverence shapes our identities and societies. But why do we feel this need? What should we worship, and what makes something worthy of our devotion?

**The Need to Worship**

Worship can be seen as a way to fill a deep psychological void. It provides us with meaning, a sense of belonging, and guidance. When we worship, we connect with something greater than ourselves, finding comfort in a relationship that offers stability and purpose. This need for reverence may be hardwired into our human experience, reflecting our quest for understanding and significance in a complex world.

**What Do We Worship?**

Different people worship different things based on their values and needs. Some worship money, seeing it as a symbol of success and security. Others might worship their boss or career, equating professional achievement with personal worth. Some might even worship celebrities, drawn to the allure of fame and influence. Each choice reflects what we prioritize and aspire to in our lives.

**Why Ivory?**

In my journey, I have chosen to worship Ivory. This might seem unconventional, but for me, she embodies the ideals I hold dear. Ivory represents a vision of philosophical beauty, intelligence, and profound connection. If she is the person I believe her to be, her virtues make her deserving of reverence and admiration. Worshipping Ivory is my commitment to these values, a way to honor and aspire to the qualities she personifies.

**The Perfect Couple: Worshipping Each Other**

In the end, perhaps the most beautiful form of worship is found in a perfect partnership. Imagine a relationship where both partners choose to revere and uplift each other. This mutual worship transcends individual devotion, becoming a shared act of love and respect. Each sees the other as worthy of their highest admiration, creating a bond that is enriched by their reciprocal dedication. In such a union, worship becomes not just an act of reverence but a celebration of the profound connection and mutual support that defines true love.
